Building Four Apps While Raising a Toddler (Yes, Really)
6 min read · March 9, 2026
When I tell people I'm building four apps while raising a toddler, I usually get one of two reactions: "How?!" or a polite smile that clearly means they don't believe me.
So let me show you what it actually looks like — because it is not a productivity-guru morning routine, I promise you that.
What a real day looks like
My building hours are the edges of the day. Before he wakes up, if I'm lucky. During nap time, if it happens. And after bedtime — the famous sundown-to-sunup shift, with coffee, a laptop, and a to-do list I wrote on my phone while making dinner.
"I don't have more time than anyone else. I have edges of days, and I decided the edges were enough."
The four apps, honestly
Higher Me is live right now — a 30-day manifestation journal with daily affirmations and guided prompts. I built it because I needed it.
Little Learner's Journal is in final testing — AI-generated toddler activities for ages 2–3, born from being on the floor at 9am with a bored toddler and zero plan.
NichePin Studio is mid-build — an AI content studio for Pinterest affiliate creators, because generic pins don't convert.
PennyRadar is the newest — a penny deal finder for resellers with barcode scanning and a community heat map. The scanner is in progress as I write this.
How the tools make it possible
I build with modern AI-powered tools. That's not a secret and I'm not embarrassed about it — it's the whole point. One person with the right tools can ship what used to take a team. The ideas, the taste, the stubbornness at 1am? Those are mine.
If you're building something in a messy season of life, here's my only advice: stop waiting for the season to end. It doesn't end. It just changes shape — and you learn to build inside the shape you've got.
Follow the roadmap on the homepage to watch all four get built in real time. No fake launches, no pretending. 💛
