30 Days of Affirmations Changed More Than My Mindset. It Changed My Business.

6 min read · April 13, 2026

I want to be honest with you about something. When I first started doing daily affirmations I thought it was a little... much. Like, standing in front of a mirror saying nice things to yourself felt awkward and kind of made-up.

And then something happened around day 12 that I wasn't expecting at all.

I made a business decision I'd been avoiding for three weeks. Not because everything was suddenly perfect or because I had more time or money. But because I genuinely believed — for the first time — that I was capable of figuring it out.

"Affirmations don't change your circumstances. They change the person who has to deal with those circumstances."

What the Higher Me 30-Day Journey actually looks like

I built Higher Me because I needed a structured practice — not just a list of affirmations to say randomly, but an actual journey with an arc. Here's how it's structured:

Phase 1 (Days 1–10): Root & Release
This phase is about clearing space. You can't build something new in a cluttered room. The prompts in this phase help you identify what you're holding onto — fear, comparison, old stories — and start letting it go. This was the hardest phase for me personally.

Phase 2 (Days 11–20): Align & Affirm
This is where the affirmations really kick in. A new one every day, paired with a journal prompt that helps you actually internalize it instead of just saying it. Day 14's affirmation — "I am worthy of every dream I have dared to dream" — hit me differently than I expected.

Phase 3 (Days 21–30): Rise & Receive
Aligned action. Goal setting. This phase is where you stop just thinking about what you want and start building a real plan to get there.

What actually changed after 30 days

  • I stopped apologizing for my ambition in conversations
  • I launched the Goods & Goodies shop even though I was scared
  • I started this blog — which I'd been "meaning to do" for over a year
  • The critical voice in my head got quieter. Not silent, but quieter.
  • I started moving through hard moments faster

I'm not saying affirmations are magic. I'm saying that what you say to yourself every morning shapes the lens you see everything through. And I'd rather see my life through a lens of belief than one of doubt.
